saddest St.Patricks Day

This St.Patricks we said good bye to every ones favorite sniper. With the last gundam 00 episode we said good bye to Lockon Stratos. Thats right we lost the pilot of the Dynames.

The first gundam meister went out in one of the saddest deaths in gundam. After the dynames is damaged and can't fight any more, lockon leaves the cockpit with the dynames special scope. As he's leaveing haro just keeps repeating "lockon" "lockon", as he floats off in to space he says " so long partner". next we ali in the zwei searching for him, but has we see him float by we see the cross hairs line up the zwei. Lockon is now on the one of the large G.N. cannons from the destroyed G.N. armor. Lockon knows this is carzy but he keeps aiming. But the zwei finds him first. As ali charges at him lockon fires, he hits the legs of the zwei but it fires on lockon and hit the cannon. Lockon is tossed off the cannon and is now floating in space. He starts to remember his family and gives his comments on the world has it is and with his final words "I hate it" the cannon explodes, killing him.

To make thing worse they killed off the the meister who's colors are green right before St.Patricks day.

I just watched episode 22 of gundam 00 an "HOLY SH.....!!!!" So much development, one the G.N. drive tau's have an operation time and have to recharge. Graham is having a Tau drive put in to his flag (I want the master grade model of that). The Trinities are most dead, nena survived. Dynames is trashed and has to be replaced. Ali got his hands on mihael's thorne zwei (Yes another gundam series that includes a "gundamjacking"). But none of that comes close to what the original gundams got. Trans-am system~ when in use the G.N. drive has all restriction removed and operates at 100%! When the Exia activates it it glows red and move like it has Minovsky drives (LM314V21 Victory 2's thruster that allows it to move as fast has light). Also the red glow makes it look like the RX-0 in destroy mode, the question is does work like the destroy also? (well, in how is activated and operational time it that mode)

Some other minor thing that happened, saji is sit in a dark room watching the gn-x squad punk the thornes. Lockon has an eye patch and can't aim as a well. The last thing, I though it was pretty cool, When the thorne Eins was destroyed, the explosion was spectator! It's was a giant mass of G.N. particles flying everywhere.

We have 3 more episode till the break. IF you don't about the break, well here's it in a nutshell. Like code geass R1, they will not air the full series right now. Episode 25 will be the last one till October. So in October the last 25 episodes will air. This raises a few questions, like will there be a time skip or etc.

I just saw gundam OO episode 20, and here what I think.

The 3 superpowers will start thinking they have the upper edge and get their @$$es handed to them when the gundams start playing more cards
GN arms- special weapon platform for the gundams, like the meteor system from seed/destiny?
Alejandro Corner- he is most likely the final boss character and whats his plan for vade
Wang Liu-Mei- to what extreme will she go to change the world
Graham refuses to pilot a GN-X, and power to him. To try to beat the gundams with a flag, he's one of top favorite pilots.
GN drive tau- a fake GN drive? Will this flaw be the downfall of the thrones

Well that's just some of my questions to be answered. Also, props to bill for using national security secrets to get in sumeragi's pants. And with that I'll end this post. Remember OO is only airing 25 episodes at first so, we'll have a big cliffhanger ending in a few weeks.

Giren no Yabou - Axis no Kyoui

While I at KatsuCon I found the new gundam game. Finding it here in the states so soon after the release is amazeing. The sad thing is now Im not getting the special zeon PSP.
The game it's self is pretty confusing at first, but I did find a good website with translations for the PS version and I'm starting to get the hang of it. It has a flow to it, set up phase, enemy set up, then action phase, and enemy action phase. There may be more but thats how far I got so far. For the set up you get to make new units, send in spies, and start moving things around. This phase may not take that long but it's very inportant. As for the action phase it takes so long. Here's where you'll spend hours of mindless cat and mouse. The battle systems is simular to advance wars. The part that annoy's me the most is the you have to battle on so many fronts. One thing that I think makes up for that is the fact you have to maintain public opinion. Based on choices you make you'll be on the side of law or chaos. If you're lawful you get more resources from allies and nuetral factions. If go down the road of chaos you can do some "fun" things like Zeon's operation British (a.k.a.-a colony drop). Any way til I finish a faction campain I can't give you a real reveiw. But for real gundam fans this is a must have. It's not as fun as some of the games where you pilot just one unit, taking on hordes of enemy units. It's for the ture fan who love every part of a moblie war, politics, strategy, and and blowing stuff up.

Katsucon 14

I just back from katsucon 14 in DC. the two mistakes i made were 1) frogeting my camera so I had to use a cheap disposable one 2) I went with only 120$ and I didn't get as much as I wanted.
Anyway so til I get the pictures devloped I can't show you some of the amazeing cosplay. But I do have some pictures of the two figures I did buy. No surprise to anyone,I got a Zero and sexy c.c. figures ^_^!

With the advent of code geass season 2 apon us its time for "The Countdown To Rebellion". Til the premire in april i'll be offering promo videos and some insites to the biggest show of the summer line up. Of crouse anyone who seen any of promo's that have been showen so far knows of the biggest question about season 2. Rollo Lamperogue, who is he, where did he come from, and what happen to nunnaly. So many questions, so much time til the premire and for the next few months sunrise we let us know a bit more and i'll keep you up to date. This we mean i'll be posting more.

A slight delay

I've been pretty busy lately so i haven't finished the RX-0. The main reason is WoW. I've been playing world of warcraft a lot lately. Any of my reader play on the anvilmar server add the blood elf rouge exia to your friends list. Now on to more important matters. The new opening to Gundam OO has aired and this is what think.

It give just a look and the 3 new gundams. The main question is who are the pilots?
Near the end of the op you see some small missile like things and small red lasers. Funnels?
Since there's probably going to 4 different opening it's a safe bet that the new gundams and the large battle on the moon (also in the opening) are going to be some time before episode 25.

The one thing that is still annoying is the OO char. At first everyone thought that Graham and his black union flag was the new char. After seeing the new op i have second thoughts on this. For someone to be considered to be like char there need to be to things. He needs to mainly go after the main gundam. It's hinted that graham is going after the dynames than the exia. Second he needs and custom color mobile suit generaly red. Graham has a black mobile suit. Who fits this description? ali al sarshes who is repainting his enact RED. This what i dont like but love about on going series... the suspense.

I'll try to update more offend and passably add downloads. After exams are over I'll try to add all the episode of OO and new one every week. Til the next time.

The War is Over

As part of my annual tradition I watch the last episode of the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I like to rewatch the series starting every september.Well with the start of 2008 we can look forword to the new spring anime line up. Presonally I've seen the line up and nothing realy jumps out to me. So on that note here's the good news tomorrow a new episode of gundam OO. But there are two sides to every coin, Just now I found out that Macross Frontier and Code Geass season 2 will not be airring til april (sad panda). As for the next updates I just got my 1/100 Master Grade Zeta and RX-0. Since the RX-0 is one of Bandai's newest model kits I'll be reveiwing it.

Macross Frontier

With the end of the year approaching a new anime season is starting and in my opinion the current front runner is Macross frontier (only till code geass season 2 airs). 25 years after the premiere of the original series this is only the third animated series to air. After the seeing the first episode the best and most appealing thing is the fantasic use of CGI. The space battles between the valkyries and whatever the the new enemy fighter is are done in some of the best anime CGI i ever seen. I can't wait to see the next episode.

Holiday post

Right about now the zeon special forces assault on the side 6 base housing the the "Alex" just failed. But that's not for another couple hundred years hopefully. Any way with Christmas right around the corner means a whole new set of what ever and my first model review post. It may be the master grade zeta ver2.0 or the newly released RX-0 unicorn gundam(I don't like the name) we'll just have to wait and see. Til then Sieg Christmas!
